Change Resolution higher than 1024x768

1) Go to C:\Program Files\Softnyx\RakionIS\Scripts
2) Open the file named PersistentSymbols.ini. Open it with notepad.
3) Scroll down until you find a line of writing that says;
persistent extern INDEX m_pixScreenWidth=(INDEX)1024;
4) Change the number 1024 to the one you want, this will modify your screen width.
5) Right underneath this line of text, you will find one called;
persistent extern INDEX m_pixScreenHeight=(INDEX)768;
6) Change the value 768 to the one you want, this controls your screen height.

Make xfire detect undetected games
2011-09-24 11:35 PM PDT
Warning, changing xfire_games.ini is not permanent and will revert back to default when xfire client updates itself. Make sure you save a portion of the ones you've changed and just copy and paste it again to the .ini file, do not try to overwrite the new .ini file by pasting the old .ini that you've save. Since xfire adds new game to the file. Not recommended.

Try this:
Open Notepad
Open C:\ProgramData\Xfire\xfire_games.ini
Search (Ctrl+F) for Lost Planet 2
Replace the entry there with the code below
Open the Games tab in Xfire's options, go to Not Installed, find Lost Planet 2, and manually detect it

LongName=Lost Planet 2

Lord of the Rings Online (Directx10)
-Change or remove InGameRenderer[0][1][2] to IngameRenderer=D3D10
-Change InGameFlags[0][1][2] to InGameFlags..etc without the [0] or just remove 1 and 2.

Earn 140 tp points in 1min 40sec (Update: due to an update with Dwarf/Elf starter area, this method doesn't work anymore, I believe. However, the- giving you 5 tp when you first play on that particular server may still work so maybe its done differently. I'm keeping the guide for archive.)

copy (ctrl C) & paste (ctrl v) this link to your browser for more info, or follow these easy steps:

1) log in to other servers
2) pick dwarf, make sure the skip tutorial is check.
3) find Dwallin, he'll be on your left.
4) Accept & finish the quest.
5) Log out or exit the game and repeat step 1-5.

Note: every server gives 10 pts so you may wanna deduct the server you're already playing on totalling 130 pts. Also the time to complete this process depends on your computer so it may take longer than 1:40

Earn 840 tp points (only during Yule Festival)

To do so you must participate in the winter event by earning Title Writ. Each title comes with a 5tp and there are six: Thespian, Star of the Show, Protagonist, Villain, Extra, Laughing-stock. All of this totaling 30tp per character.

Doing festival quest gets you coins and tokens.
1 Quest = 4 Frostbluff Coins
4 Frostbluff Coins = 1 Yule Festival Token
6 Yule Festival Tokens = Title Writ

You may also earn these titles by participating in theatre (you get pick randomly along with oh so many ppl).

Note: It is possible to acquire 840tp, assuming you are a Free player with two character slots (1260tp if you are Premium with 3 slots). Assuming you are a Free Player, 30tp times 2 character slots is 60tp. Now 60tp, we're only talking about 1 server and there are 14. So, 60tp times 14server is 840tp However there is a catch to acquire that amount of tp and that is time. You already know that it takes time for these quest to recharge and complete its cooldown. Whats more is it'll take an amount of time just to get your newly...

This game is good, in my personal opinion. Well, at least back in the day when it was pay2play. When they release the free2play (subscription optional) version. It turned from good to BLAH.

*Flashback* the funny part is that I was playing LotRO when I get an email from AoC telling me about the Rise of the Godslayer expansion and I'll have 2 weeks of game time free. I liked this game a lot so I was like OK, why not reinstall the game and check it out once again. When I was in the game I was telling the whole server (Global Chat) how awesome LotRO is with its F2P (optional subscription), and that FunCom(company behind AoC) should do the same; follow Turbines(company behind LotRO) footstep if they want more revenue, sales and players. So then after a couple of months after I said that- BAM there goes AoC Unchained F2P optional Subscription version of the game. Within a month the game receives 500k ++ sign ups. Now I'm not claiming I'm the reason/motivator behind Funcoms going f2p, but you can't say IT ISN'T a coincidence either, I'll just leave it at that. Or maybe, what if I was? :>

*Flashforward* if you try to play the game, you'll definitely enjoy it with its incredible graphics (like those of bf3,mw3,assassin creed). You will not fully experience the game unless you go pay2play. Because they cut the best part from f2p players. They are doing promo's and seasonal events where you get free stuff or permanent access to dungeons which is nice. But the game cannot compete with LotRO's in-game item mall. Because when you buy a content package in LotRO, its yours forever. In AoC you RENT content packages... Lol.. and with LotRO, you can earn points to spend on the item mall by grinding (doing quest/deeds), meaning you can unlock every content in LotRO as f2p player, in AoC there's no other way, you must spend cash/real money!!

Oh and btw, the game is RATED M for mature. You can cuss all you want in Global Chat (server chat) and you wont get banned (funny thing is the chat is never abused/spammed...
